What is HOA University?
Since its inception, HOA has offered basic posing and lighting seminars to young, new
photographers. They were first known as Joe Brown Seminars and more recently as Heart
of America Posing and Lighting Seminars. Just as the business of photography has changed,
so must the scope of these seminars. The need for additional courses has grown and
HOA University is a result of that growth. Just like those in the past, these courses are
designed to assist new photographers to develop their photographic and business skills
as well as seasoned professionals.
Through all of the changes one constant has remained, these courses honor all of the
photographers/educators of the Heart of America states who gave so generously of their
time and talents to assist young photographers. In one way or another, we
have all benefited from their guidance.
These intense, topic specific, hands-on courses will be held in two sessions, on Saturday,
April 12, 2008. Class size is limited and an additional fee is required.
